ROXY ROTH, CREATIVE DIRECTOR
As a Music Teacher it is an honor to be invited aboard someone’s musical journey, helping them build lifelong foundations and skills in creating, improvising and performing. I love each moment of discovery and musical awakening as eager students challenge me to explore teaching beyond the traditional methods and to bring rich and meaningful musical experiences to their lives.
Music Therapist, MTA, NMT
As a Music Therapist, I work with the family, individual and other professionals to determine non musical goals such as communication, emotional well-being, motor goals, wellness and more. Through music interventions, we work towards these goals as a team.
I specialize in working with children with special needs who may may benefit from individual or group music therapy to develop social skills, emotional skills, communication skills and more.
For the past 15 years, I have developed a crazy clan of over a dozen characters to entertain, laugh, sing, play music, play games, face paint, and sculpt balloons. There is something for the whole family.
I began my journey at the age of 14, earning a Degree in Clownology shortly after. Entertaining runs in the family, as I began clowning as a mother-daughter duo.
Roving entertainment is my specialty--I love having the opportunity to bring joy to people in an unexpected moment of interaction. It’s fun, and challenging, to approach people and tickle their funny bone. The challenge is what I love!
In recent years, my entertainment has also evolved to include music jams and games, in plain-clothes, as Roxy.
